Liz Holliday, Communications Specialist

I’m a former journalist who turned in my microphone to help enact change that lasts beyond a deadline. An expert in all things media, I enjoy working for a company that has stories to tell, and platforms to expand.  I have experience in public relations, social media strategies, digital design, video editing, ghost writing, and working with the media across all platforms.

In the past year, I have helped my small non-profit go from just 12 media hits in 2014 to 90 media hits in 2015 (including MSNBC, The Washington Post,The New York TimesThe Wall Street JournalThe Guardian, WNYC’s The Brian Lehrer Show and TIME magazine to name a few). I’ve organized press conferences, helped with community actions, and have ghost written opinion pieces that have been published in The HillThe Huffington PostAlbany Times UnionThe Philadelphia Tribune, and many more. I also have put together campaign videos (shot and edited), tribute videos as well as done some simple graphic and digital design for the organization.
